“A therapist is someone who can join you in the darkness with a light to help you find your way out”
I offer warmth, openness and curiosity, providing a creative and flexible environment in which you can feel safe enough to explore all parts of yourself including those that might feel challenging or unacceptable. I hope that our work together will enable you to begin to heal and grow.
I am a BACP-registered therapist with experience of working with people with a diverse range of difficulties. These include anxiety, trauma, depression, unsatisfactory relationships, sexual abuse, sexuality & identity, low self esteem, loss & bereavement, life stage crisis and other concerns that make life feel difficult to navigate. I have specialist training in eating disorders, group work and trauma informed therapy.
At the core of my practice is my belief in the importance of seeing the individual in front of me and I aim to hear and learn to understand your needs in relation to you. You can expect to feel listened to, understood and supported.
Please get in touch to arrange an initial phone consultation where you can tell me a bit about what you need and I can tell you more about the way that I work, what you can expect from a session and my fees.
